You'll notice the soft-touch finishings, redesigned gauge panel, three-spoked steering wheel and premium accents right away; along with a true armrest, relocated door handles, a new "streamlined" centre stack with better access, and more functionality in the rear cargo area. What you might not immediately see are the subtle homages to our history. Look for them behind the rear view mirror and on the inside of the door.

Aerodynamic

All that honesty helped carve one of the lowest drag coefficient of any truck in its class:

• Ram's mirrors alone represent an entire chapter of exhaustive aerodynamic research and testing
• The bold hood bulge ends in a cowling at the windshield, covering the wipers and protecting them from drag
• Windshield side mouldings channel rain water onto the roof instead of side windows where it can interfere with visibility
• The shape of the leading edge of the windshield frame was fine-tuned to minimize wind noise
• We even tuned the tailgate for improved aerodynamics
