The CLÉ VERTE program awards environmental certification to members of the public and to automotive service centres (for cars and light and heavy trucks) in recognition of the institution of environmental protection measures within car dealerships.
CLÉ VERTE certification is designed to encourage managing our activities in such a way as to take into account our impact on the environment. For our clientele it serves as a reliable tool, certified by an independent organization, to help in the selection of an automotive centre which is responsive to environmental concerns.
CLÉ VERTE dealerships are visited regularly by an independent controller who ensures that the business meets all of the program's criteria, notably concerning residual materials, procedures followed and equipment used.
The program outlines for service centres the best practices regarding environmental protection, which are formulated according to recommendations by independent experts and by programs aimed specifically at automotive dealerships.
The CLÉ VERTE environmental certification program was developed by Nature-Action Québec, a recognized non-profit organization, in collaboration with members of La Table de concertation sur l'environnement et les véhicules routiers.
